Former Fox News contributor Kevin Jackson looks at how the controversial technology could actually play a better role with election validation and more.
Ever since its introduction last year, Artificial Intelligence – or AI, as it’s known in many circles – has created quite a stir. Not only has it played a part in creative roles (such as art creation or creating articles), but it’s also slowly making its way into the workplace, with Wendy’s set to introduce a new AI chatbot to one of its drive-thru stores fairly soon.
Some, such as Twitter owner Elon Musk and several other tech giants, think it’s a cause for alarm. But some also believe it could benefit greatly in other fields – including politics. It could potentially be used to validate certain claims, such as election results or even finding official details surrounding controversial cases, such as Hunter Biden. But are we really that ready to be so dependent on it?
Joining us to discuss this further is Kevin Jackson, a former Fox News contributor who is now a best-selling author on Amazon. Jackson recently founded The Kevin Jackson Network, which delivers highly entertaining news commentary and value-based movies without the limits of social media getting in the way. His expertise will truly be useful in this matter.
Q&A:
- What’s your opinion about Artificial Intelligence as a whole? Is it truly an “evil” technology, or does it really depend on who’s using it?
- Why do you believe more and more companies are leaning towards AI these days? Easier job completion? Better results? A combination of both, perhaps?
- You believe that AI could play a better part in the world of politics, such as clarifying election results and even finding details that even the most investigative of reporters couldn’t find. Can you discuss this in more detail?
- Aren’t you concerned that if AI were put in a higher role with politics, it could potentially be manipulated? We’ve seen hacks in the past where data has been altered, would this not be the case for AI?
- Let’s say you were put in charge of an AI program for the government. How would you go about starting it, and what steps would you take to assure its productivity?
