The United States Supreme Court just handed down double-barrel decisions favoring police. The high court decided in two back-to-back cases that police officers are entitled to protection from lawsuits over the use of force.
So, it appears we will still be a nation ruled by law and not handed over to self-styled ‘Woke Enforcers’ in the Defund the Police movement. Joining in on the discussion is Michael Letts, founder of In-Vest USA, a charitable organization that donated bulletproof vests to law enforcement officers.
Q&A:
- Michael, what is your opinion of these two Supreme Court decisions?
Answer: They are a win-win for America. I applaud the SCOTUS decision upholding “Qualified Immunity” for police who are simply performing their sworn oath to protect their communities and citizens!
- What would it look like if the decision went the other way?
Answer: Imagine your community without law enforcement– terrifying would be putting it mildly. Removing Qualified Immunity would guarantee a lawless and anarchy America.
- Why are so-called progressives opposed to Qualified Immunity?
4) How will this ruling help the overall status of law enforcement today?
5) What is InVestUSA doing to assist and protect our law enforcement officers daily?
6) How can individuals and communities help their communities become safer for their children and future generations.
7) How may we help In-Vest USA get more active shooter vests to law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day for us?
