But a new initiative is being proposed by a possible presidential primary contender that might be the proverbial straw that causes conservatives to switch their allegiance from Don to Ron. The topic is the formation of a Florida State Guard that is independent of the federal government. The man proposing the initiative is Florida governor Ron DeSantis.

- Are there any benefits to Law Enforcement/First Responders in Gov. DeSantis’s proposal to create a Florida State Guard?
A.) There are multiple benefits to Law Enforcement/First Responders in Florida by Gov. DeSantis proposal to create a Florida State Guard. Twenty-three other states, including SC have similar state guard programs. Depending on how they are structured, they can be immensely valuable—especially in that, they are separate from the ‘woke’ bureaucrats in Washington!
- Are there any possible negatives or areas of concern about a State Guard Program?
A.) It is all about creating documents and agreements. It is NOT a rogue military operation playing war games.
- What is the proper structuring and setup to reach maximum benefit for the citizens of Florida or any state having or creating a State Guard?
A.) It needs to be designated as a Special Operations Rapid Emergency Response Battalion……Comprised of Law Enforcement/ Fire Fighter/ Medic/ and Search and Rescue. Either as individualized squads/platoons or Fully trained units……(Fully trained units maximize resources. They must also be trained and funded…..wise investment for minimal cost.
