President Joe Biden’s Plan To Fix Diesel Shortages Will Likely Leave Americans Out In the Cold This Winter (Guest: Guy Mitchell)

Author Guy Mitchell explains why the President’s latest move towards energy is doing more harm than good.

President Joe Biden is looking to keep Americans warm this holiday season with a drop in price for diesel fuel. However, his plan could end up leaving them out in the cold.

Biden has a plan in the works that will require fuel suppliers to set aside a certain amount of their diesel reserves in inventory, in an effort to avoid shortages and lower prices. The only problem is that this will create a greater demand, forcing oil companies to scramble and possibly raising the price even further. (Keep in mind that diesel fuel is already at a sky-high rate of over $5.35 a gallon.)

Fox News recently spoke to Apple Oil president Sam Livieri about the plan, and how it could backfire. “Mandating fuel to be put in storage is what we need next year, not this year,” he explained. “Diesel fuel and home heating oil are basically the same. We’re coming into the winter, and telling suppliers to put oil away for another date would be handcuffing the oil producers and put the oil companies in a no-win situation.”

The importance of diesel fuel is dire for some, especially since it can be used as a replacement for home heating oil, should the pricing of that be out of control. However, it seems like this plan could make winter even rougher more Americans, despite Biden’s idea that it could work.

With us now to discuss the matter is Guy Mitchell, the author of Global Warming: The Great Deception – The Triumph of Dollars and Politics Over Science and Why You Should Care. His expertise in all things energy and global warming should provide a great deal of perspective on this matter.

Q&A:

  1. First of all, what do you think prompted Biden to put this deal in his head? Especially when the idea that setting aside diesel reserves will create a greater demand and actually make the price increase?
  2. How is diesel fuel interchangeable with home heating oil? Are there really that many differences between the two?
  3. Apple Oil president Sam Livieri noted that part of the problem is that Biden is still giving too much fuel to international countries. Is this still the case, you think? And if so, how is he benefitting from this?
  4. If this plan does go through, will there be a fuel crisis that further adds to the potential recession that could be coming in the new year?
  5. In your eyes, what would a viable solution be to this matter? Try to get different fuel resources elsewhere instead of trying to reserve diesel? Or is there even a solution that’s viable for Biden at this point?
  6. Tell us more about your latest book, Global Warming: The Great Deception – The Triumph of Dollars and Politics Over Science and Why You Should Care, and why it’s such a relevant read right now, especially with what’s happening.
  7. Where can we find more information about Global Warming or pick up a copy of your book, Global Warming: The Great Deception?

My website is full of scientific facts, charts, and scholarly articles clarifying so-called Climate Change. The website is GlobalWarmingDeception.com. That’s GlobalWarmingDeception.com. In addition, my book, Global Warming: The Great Deception, is available for purchase on Amazon, and there’s also a Kindle version.
