Niagara Falls Has Declared a State of Emergency Ahead of Next Week’s Eclipse (Guest: Mark Biltz)

Pastor and author Mark Biltz discusses the recent declaration by the city, and why it never hurts to be prepared, just in case.

With the pending solar eclipse set to take place in less than a week, some cities have begun taking precautions just in case things don’t go as planned.

The Epoch Times recently reported that a state of emergency was recently declared near Niagara Falls, in an effort to prepare the area for the eclipse, set to take place on April 8th. It’s expecting around up to one million visitors for the event, the most visitors that the city has ever seen in a single day.

As such, the city is prepping a number of resources to get ready, in an effort to avoid traffic jams and cellphone network overloads. The only question is if everything will be ready in time in less than a week’s notice.

New York previously announced it would take measures with the eclipse, concerned that it could create traffic as well.

But should there be more to do in an effort to get ready for the eclipse? Joining us now is Mark Biltz, an author and the founder and Senior Pastor for El Shaddai Ministries in Washington State. His expertise should prove useful with this particular subject. Welcome, Mark!

Q&A:

  1. Is Niagara Falls doing the right thing with calling for a state of emergency with the eclipse? Or is there more that the city can be doing?
  2. Do you think these precautions will be useful? Or could the eclipse bring a much bigger problem than people expect?
  3. You’ve talked in the past about how the eclipse could very well be a sign of worse things to come. Can you talk about this further?
  4. What would you recommend for people that are interested in seeing the eclipse in a high-traffic area?
  5. Are there other preparations that you think citizens should take in regards to next week’s eclipse?
  6. You discuss something called the Tribulation quite often. Tell us more about it, and when you think it might take place.
  7. Tell us about the books you’ve written, and where people can find them.
