Mayor of Boston: Ignore Theft, Stop Registering Gangs (Guest: Michael Letts)

The mayor of Boston, Michelle Wu, had her deep liberal ideology exposed as a 2021 mayoral candidate questionnaire revealed she is in favor of “shuttering the Boston police gang database” and is in favor of a highly-controversial “do-not-prosecute list.”

The crimes on that list that she believes should not be prosecuted include “shoplifting, larceny, disorderly conduct, receiving stolen property, driving with a suspended license, breaking and entering with property damage, wanton and malicious destruction of property, threats’” and even “minor in possession of alcohol.”

Michael Letts, founder and CEO of InVest USA, called it “an ideology that will destroy the freedom and justice that Americans have cherished and defended with their sacred fortune, lives, and honor.”

Michael is here to discuss the troubling desire to let crime go ignored.

Welcome, Michael.

Q&A:

1. Why on earth would the mayor be in favor of ignoring blatant crime?

2. Of the many things she wants ignored – larceny, shoplifting, breaking and entering among them – what jumps out at you?

3. How can the citizens of Boston feel safe with this mayor in charge?

4. Does Mayor Wu have the power to have these crimes ignored?

5. What does this do to local businesses?

6. What does this mean for Boston police?

7. Mayor Wu also said police should not be allowed to use tear gas, rubber bullets and attack dogs. What will that do to law enforcement?

8. Why is she siding with criminals and not the people who are paying her salary?

9. How can people learn more about InVest USA and support your mission?
