Manhattan D.A. perplexed by pushback over his Soft-on-Crime policies Guest: Michael Letts

Interview guest, police officer Michael Letts

Questions:

1.) New York City has a new mayor and District Attorney. What do you think are the objectives of D.A. Briggs with radical soft-on-crime policies?

A.) His distorted view is that making a concerted effort to keep criminals out of jail inspires them to be better people, making room for the “real” criminals (a.k.a. so-called domestic terrorists)

2.) What actually takes place when a convicted con is fresh out of jail for armed robbery and he has a second armed assault charge lowered to a mere misdemeanor?

A.) To demonstrate the distortion of that policy, this con obviously didn’t learn anything in jail since he did it again right after being let out, but he now knows that society doesn’t care, and his crimes will likely be worse and more violent than before. He wins either way. If he doesn’t get caught, he pays no price for his crimes. If he does get caught, it’s not much different than a parking ticket. It’s risk-reward. Soon these criminals will think like entrepreneurs, seeing will see great odds and little downside to continuing their criminal “profession.” I should say their “misdemeanor” profession.

3.) How can District Attorney Briggs be “perplexed” that his community is upset and rejects his policies?

A.) Ultra-leftist, Democratic and Marxist are hard to distinguish from one another. Both are devoid of reality, believing dictators’ propaganda over the ages saying that the utopia of life is one with no rules or regulations…….the truth is: That’s no ‘utopia.’ It is Anarchy and Chaos!

4.) What can communities do to counter this destructive mindset?

A.) We need to support our brave first responders and support your right to demand a recall of such misguided and incompetent elected officials!

5.) Your charitable organization  InVest USA provides bulletproof vests to police officers. Tell us about that.

6) Where may we get more information about InVest and help provide police officers with body armor?

A.) InVestUSA.org

Michael A Letts is the CEO and Founder of  In-VestUSA. His national non-profit charitable organization is based in Columbia, South Carolina, helping hundreds of communities provide thousands of bulletproof vests for their police forces through educational, public relations, sponsorship, and fundraising programs.
