Israeli Researchers Develop Technology that Transforms Tap Water into Virus Disinfectant

Intro:  As part of the multi-pronged fight against Covid-19, Bar-Ilan University researchers have now developed powerful, environmentally friendly disinfectants, based on tap water, that eliminate bacteria and kill viruses, including microbes from the human coronavirus family.

The disinfectants are effective and safe to use, and do not contaminate groundwater.

Here to tell us more about this is David Rubin, former Mayor of Shiloh, Israel and the author of “Trump and the Jews”.

Suggested Q&A:

  1. How can this new Israeli discovery contribute to the fight against Covid-19? There’s been a lot of discussion about “the day after”. People are asking the questions: when the economy reopens, will it be safe to re-enter airplanes, or churches, or schools – how will they be disinfected, especially when the usual disinfectants do not work? This Israeli discovery may provide a solution.
  2. How does it work? This disinfectant is based on tap water. It eliminates bacteria and kills viruses, and has been proven effective in totally eliminating human corona-type viruses, and therefore it is believed that it will prove effective in eliminating Covid-19, as well.
  3. How does it compare to other disinfectants and how can it be used? It is much more effective and more powerful in cleaning commonly used open spaces from dangerous bacteria and viruses. The antiseptic capability is 100 times more effective than bleach and therefore low concentrations can be used. Specific practical uses will include aerosol sprays (for disinfecting surfaces, appliances, beds, closets, bathrooms, toilets, etc.), containers for immersion (washing devices, hands etc.), disinfectant wipes, hand washing, shoe washing, buckets for washing and disinfecting floors, air-conditioning systems, washing machines, and air purifiers.
  4. What about the potentially harmful aspects, like danger to the environment? They are much more environmentally friendly than most disinfectants and do not cause burns or dry skin. As such, they may even be effective in treating wounds, which is another possibility being investigated.
  5. As a keen observer of the American political scene, you have praised President Trump’s role leading the fight against Covid-19, and you’ve commented about his unorthodox leadership style in your book, “Trump and the Jews”. Where can our listeners/viewers get a copy? They can go to my website www.DavidRubinIsrael.com or just go to Amazon.com and type in the words: “Trump and the Jews”.
