The author and pastor of El Shaddai Ministries discusses Trump’s impact on Israel, and whether he could make things better or worse.
Following a visit to the United States this past week, it appears that Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been favorable to the return of President Donald Trump, and considers America one of their strongest allies.
During his visit, Netanyahu called Trump “the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House,” possibly taking a dig at previous President Joe Biden. He also believes that Trump is “making a tremendous change in the Israeli-American alliance, strengthening it beyond anything we’ve seen up to now.”
In the midst of an ongoing ceasefire between Israel and Hamas – which is resulting in the release of several key hostages and prisoners – the question is what happens next. Trump has already planned to send approximately $8 billion in arms to Israel, though he’s apparently bypassing some lawmakers in the process. And Hamas still holds on to several hostages, even with its current deal with Israel.
