How Can Everyday Americans Help Israel? (Guest: Nesya Fertel)

The 14-year old prodigy discusses Israel, and what others can do to help in their fight against Hamas.

The war between Israel and Hamas is ongoing, entering into its latest week with thousands dead and no end in sight.

With that, most people feel powerless to help Israel. They see the news and want to help. But the real question is…how?

Joining us now to discuss the matter further – and offer advice on the matter – is 14 year old Nesya Fertel, a violin prodigy from Los Angeles. She’s currently making her journey to Israel, giving free concerts to soldiers, injured civilians and displaced families. We welcome her to our show.

Q&A:

  1. What made you decide to go to Israel during a war to perform these concerts?
  2. Are you scared to make the journey to Israel right now?
  3. You’re performing free concerts in Israel. Do you think they’ll help people that need any relief they can find right now?
  4. What advice would you give to Americans who would like to help the situation in Israel?
  5. What do you think is the solution when it comes to the conflict between Israel and Hamas?
  6. Where can people see you perform?
