Historic Tulsa Race Massacre Case Is Moving Forward, Fighting Back Against Injustice

The plaintiffs in a lawsuit seeking reparations for the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre celebrated a judge’s ruling on Monday when she allowed their case to move forward after defendants sought a motion to dismiss the case.

Judge Wall’s decision means America could be held accountable for a previous injustice and could lay the groundwork for similar cases in the future. In this case, reparations are being considered for relatives of defendants two of which are 107 years old and another who is 101 years old.

Dr. Carol Swain talks specifically about this issue in the new documentary Truth and Lies in American Educationproduced by US Parents Involved in Education. While the murder of hundreds of blacks and the burning down of their properties was horrific, Dr. Swain makes the point that a prosperous Black community dubbed “Black Wall Street” happened just 60 years after the end of slavery. That would not have been possible if Blacks were oppressed as suggested by Critical Race Theory.

Sheri Few, Founder and President of US Parents Involved in Education says, “Critical Race Theory is one of many disturbing pedagogies pervasive in schools across America. The lie of systemic racism is being taught to children with remedies like reparations.”
