Hilary Clinton’s Comments About Pro-Lifers Give Jane’s Revenge More Leeway in Wreaking Havoc (Guest: Jim Harden)

CompassCare CEO Jim Harden speaks about the former First Lady’s words – and how they could hurt people down the line.

Former First Lady Hilary Clinton’s comments about pro-lifers could very well allow pro-choice groups to run havoc.

A couple of days ago, Clinton openly compared pro-lifers to Middle Eastern terrorist regimes, believing their actions were causing a great deal of harm. However, in doing so, she essentially enabled groups like Jane’s Revenge to run wild with their own messages.

Late last week, the group placed a note on the door of the John Paul II Newman Center in Omaha during a Students For Life meeting. On it, the group gave an ultimatum: stop pro-life lobbying or else Jane’s Revenge would “Shoot up your…center with our new AK-74 (sloppy writing misread as AR-14) rifles.”

This comes on the heels of what the Department of Homeland Security calls a “heightened threat environment,” with the fallout from the Roe vs. Wade reversal by the Supreme Court continuing to be a factor with a number of these groups. But the real question leading into 2023 is…will it get worse before it gets better?

Here to discuss this situation is CompassCare CEO Jim Harden (or Community Relations Director Daniel Tomlinson), breaking down why Clinton’s words are doing more harm than good, and what could happen now.

Q&A:

  1. Do you believe Clinton’s comments about pro-lifers are reckless and could create danger for your CompassCare centers?
  2. Why does the Jane’s Revenge group seem so hellbent about getting their message across, even getting to the point of threatening violence with assault rifles?
  3. Doesn’t it seem a bit odd to you that Clinton compares pro-lifers to terrorist regimes, but Jane’s Revenge’s is perpetrating actual domestic terrorism?
  4. Do you believe some form of investigation should take place over Clinton’s comments? Or do you believe the Justice Department will simply let her get by because of her stature within the government?
  5. Where do you see things going in 2023? Could Jane’s Revenge actions possibly get worse as the year goes on? Do you believe Hilary Clinton will continue to make comments in their favor?
  6. You know all about the feeling of injustice surrounding pro-life, as your CompassCare location in Buffalo was firebombed several months ago, and the FBI is just now working on an investigation into the matter. Tell us more about what took place, and what’s happening now.
  7. Where can we learn more about CompassCare and its services?
    1. You can find out more information on our community page.
