Former President Donald Trump Believes Prosecutorial Misconduct Took Place In His Documents Case – But Did That Really Happen? (Guest: Steve Strang)

The author of Trump Aftershock: The President’s Seismic Impact on Faith and Culture, discusses the recent case.

It appears that the defense has rested in the classified documents case surrounding former President Donald Trump. However, that isn’t stopping him from calling for its dismissal.

He recently noted that there was “prosecutorial misconduct” that took place in the case, with his defense attorneys also noting that the 15 boxes seized by the FBI during the raid on his Mar-a-Lago estate should also be excluded from evidence.

Prosecutors agreed with Trump, noting that the “narrative of bad-faith collusion” between the Justice Department, White House and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) were “baseless.”

They added that “no one—not even the court—believed that recourse to criminal investigative steps or a prosecution was possible to seize records lawfully possessed by President Clinton pursuant to an exercise of Article II authority before he left office.”

The real question is if Trump’s claims will make a difference at this point – or if they’ll even be considered.

Steve Strang, CEO of Charisma Media and author of Trump Aftershock: The President’s Seismic Impact on Faith and Culture, is here to discuss this matter with us. Welcome, Steve!
