On June 7th, 2022 at 2:45 a.m., a man wearing a mask and driving a Dodge Dart sedan pulled up to a CompassCare Center, broke the windows, and threw Molotov cocktails inside. The firebombing resulted in a half million dollars in damage and injured two firefighters. The goal of these abortion obsessed terrorists is to intimidate those protecting babies and shut down the clinics. They failed on both accounts.
While the media focus on the rare attacks on abortion clinics, there have been over 500 attacks on pro-life people and organizations. They use physical intimidation, such as the firebombing two years ago Friday, and the court system, such as the California and New York effort to stop pregnancy centers from helping mothers who change their mind about abortion.
From the Rev. Harden, CEO of CompassCare: “Bottomline, the firebombing of CompassCare and pro-life Christians is a shot across the bow of the Church, the family, the rule of law, and the global nation-state system. Western civilization is in a fight for its life. To think that pro-abortion Marxists will stop at outlawing pro-life expression is naïve. We ignore this to our peril.”
Rev. Harden joins us now to look back on what happened two years ago, where the case has gone from here, and what the pro-life people face in the future.
Welcome, Jim.
