The CEO of CompassCare believes the Committee has more of a case than ever before to investigate Garland and his agencies.
Earlier this week, Attorney General Merrick Garland was brought before the Senate Judiciary Committee and given a number of topics on which to provide detail, including how the FBI treats pro-life people and groups.
As Senator Ted Cruz questioned Garland about why the attackers of pro-life pregnancy centers have not been prosecuted (including the arsonists who firebombed CompassCare) the Attorney General provided a limp answer, saying “…[the attacks occurred] at night and in secret.”
To similar questions asked by Senator Mike Lee, Garland only gave a similar answer: “Those attacking the pregnancy resource centers…are doing this at night, in the dark…. …these people who are doing this are clever and are doing it in secret.”
Garland may be committing perjury, without providing the details needed to justify the matter. CompassCare CEO Jim Harden sounded off on this matter, stating in a press release, “It doesn’t take a law enforcement officer to know when the facts don’t add up. If the DOJ and the FBI really do have one standard, it is the standard of injustice because the brutal and sad facts reveal theirs is not the standard of equal justice. Justice is found in results not words.”
The condition preventing the FBI from making arrests has been diagnosed by some as nyctophobia, the fear of darkness.
While Harden awaits justice for the attack on CompassCare, he (or CompassCare Director of Community Relations Daniel Tomlinson) joins us now to discuss this further.)
Q&A:
- Why do you believe Garland gave such unfocused, inconclusive answers surrounding how government agencies treat pro-life citizens and centers? Is it merely because of who he’s trying to protect, or something else?
- FBI Director Christopher Wray noted that the Bureau has “one standard” to follow. But based on the documents that have leaked indicating specific targeting on Christians and pro-life subjects, that doesn’t appear to be the case, does it?
- Does it seem like he’s playing favorites? Even ultra-liberal Keith Olbermann has spoken out in favor of firing Wray. https://mobile.twitter.com/KeithOlbermann/status/1631157886406770688
- Do you think any useful information came out of Garland’s meeting with the Judiciary Committee earlier this week? Do they have more information in which to investigate further?
- How frustrated are you that no progress has been made in arresting those that firebombed the Buffalo CompassCare last center – even with video evidence showing them in the act?
- Tell us more about CompassCare and the services you provide for those needing assistance with their pregnancy.
- For those that are interested in supporting CompassCare and learning more about the services they provide, where can they go?
