With Election day finally here, CompassCare CEO Jim Harden explains a decision that’s going wrong for many Democrats.
Election Day is finally here, with a number of Democrats looking to get re-elected in their respective chairs in Senate and the House. However, some of them are facing some fire, mainly due to their decisions surrounding abortion.
Several Democrats who doubled down on pro-choice (or, to some, pro-abortion) are facing criticism due to their support of unfettered abortion on-demand. This was due to what happened with the overturning of Roe vs. Wade; and though it won some favor with pro-choice advocates, many have expressed their displeasure in the decision making.
To back this up, various polls indicate that 80 percent of voters favor restrictions on abortion, feeling that the process is dangerous. Even with so many pro-choice protests taking place, many appear to believe in the value of family over unnecessary abortions.
Here to speak to us about this situation is Rev. James Harden, M. Div., who serves as the CEO of CompassCare Pregnancy Services. He also pioneered the first measurable and repeatable medical model in the pregnancy center movement. He explains why this report could shine a light on the FBI’s doings – and accelerate resolving problems surrounding it. - Why do you believe so many Democrats would choice pro-choice over pro-life? Reaction to Roe vs. Wade? Trying to listen to the demands of protest groups? Possibly political ambition to show they’re “right”?
- The polls indicate that 80 percent of voters believe restrictions should be in place for abortion. Does this surprise you at all, or do you think that’s an accurate number?
- You’ve spoken quite a bit in the past about the government being against pro-life centers, particularly with the ongoing investigation into the firebombing of a Buffalo CompassCare center earlier this summer. Do you think it’s still a problem to date? Especially with a new report published that hints at corruption within the Federal Bureau of Investigation?
- What do you think will come from Election Day in terms of different people coming to the House and Senate? Could you see more of a pro-life argument turning the tide as a result?
