Columbia Protest Leader Spoke of “Murdering Zionists” (Guest: Grant Berry)

Columbia University protest leader Khymani James now expresses “regret” after a video surfaced where he said of “Zionists… I feel very comfortable, very comfortable, calling for those people to die.”  He also compared them to “Nazis.” Now admitting he was “wrong” to say these things, he blames “far right agitators” for exposing his past words.

Joining us to discuss this breaking news is Grant Berry, founder of Reconnecting Ministries and author and producer of the Romans 911 project. His work to reconcile Jews and Gentiles make him uniquely qualified to discuss the ongoing protests. Welcome, Grant.

Q&A:

1.  Columbia student protest leader Khymani James says he regrets wishing death upon the Jews. Do you believe him? Or do you think he’s merely sorry he got caught?

2. As you watch the protests unfold on campuses, what do you wish you could say to the protestors?

3. What would you say to the Jewish students on these campuses?

4. What is behind all this animosity?

5. How can we find reconciliation between the groups? Is there hope?

7. Speaking of reconciliation, tell us more about the Romans 911 audiobook, your written book, and your Romans 911podcast.

8. Where can we find Romans 911 and learn more about it?

Answer: There are two websites: Romans911.org, which introduces the project; and our main website, ReconnectingMinistries.com.
