Black Lives Matter Announces Solidarity With Hamas and the Palestinians

GUEST- LIVE FROM JERUSALEM – May 18 – 20: David Rubin, native New Yorker, former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, and author of the brand-new book, Confronting Radicals: What America Can Learn from Israel.

TOPIC POINTS:

• The Black Lives Matter organization has just announced its “Solidarity with the Palestinians”. Does that mean that they support the 3,000 rockets that have been fired at Israel by Hamas and the Arab rioting in Israeli cities? Of course, it does. The timing is obviously an intentional show of strong support for Hamas at this critical time, when Israel is finally starting to do some real damage to the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza.

• Why is BLM taking a stand on an issue that seems to be out of their league? Is it somehow related to their past charges accusing Israel of racism? Let’s be honest about it. BLM is itself a racist organization. It is indeed racist to demand that all white Americans should be required to pay reparations to black people because a very small percentage of them are descended from people who had slaves at a time when most of the world had slaves, including a lot of Muslims by the way, so the BLM affinity for Muslim terrorist organizations is very strange, indeed, and seems to stem from other, less altruistic motives.

• But what about BLM’s charge that Israel is an apartheid state? Israel is a country where Jews of many different races feel at home and where there is freedom for all. Many hundreds of thousands of Jews descended from Yemen, from Ethiopia, and from India are full-fledged citizens in Israel, serve as distinguished soldiers in the IDF, and work in all professions and are active in all walks of life. They are part of the great Israeli family.

• That sounds very nice, but aren’t the Palestinians treated differently by Israel? They are, but that has nothing at all to do with race. The Palestinians, or those Arab citizens of Israel who define themselves as such, have declared themselves enemies of the Jewish state. Unlike the Druse and Armenian minorities who are mostly loyal residents of Israel, the Palestinians have always supported Arab terrorism. That has nothing to do with race. BLM’S hatred of Israel has more to do with the ongoing collusion between the radical Left and Muslim radicals. We have seen that cooperation and similar tactics during the riots in American cities and the intolerance on American college campuses.

• Meanwhile, the fighting is continuing in Gaza and Hamas rockets are still being fired at Israel’s cities. Will Israel agree to President Biden’s recent request for a ceasefire? Sadly, we have been in this movie before. When Israel starts to get the upper hand in the fighting, the demands for a ceasefire suddenly emerge. I don’t know if Prime Minister Netanyahu will agree to such a proposal. In my opinion, Israel should continue its offensive until Hamas is no longer capable of firing rockets and until they raise the white flags of surrender. People should understand that Joe Biden’s policy of weakness is actually responsible for this war. Just two months ago, he restored $300 million in financial aid to the Palestinian Authority, and he did so unconditionally. These are funds that had been cut off by President Trump because of the Palestinian penchant for paying monthly salaries to terrorists, which they have been doing for twenty years. Biden restored that funding unconditionally, effectively giving them a green light to launch terror attacks. And he has the gall to demand that Israel stop responding to 3,000 rocket attacks?
