Said ‘No State’ Allows Killing of Babies After Birth
ABC Presidential Debate moderator Linsey Davis lied. That is the bold and assertive claim made by Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, which has more than a leg to stand on. During the debate, un-prompted, Davis made an assertion of fact in response to Donald Trump’s claim that babies are allowed to be murdered after being born alive following botched abortions.
After Trump was finished speaking, Davis plainly said, “There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born,” Davis said. At best, this is misinformation. At worse, it’s simply a bald-faced lie, according to Jim Harden, leader of Compass Care, which helps women make the right decision to avoid killing their babies.
That is a lie. Unfortunately, for those who know it is, the horse may already be out of the barn and Davis’s tactic of lying for convenience may have served its purpose. Susan B. Anthony said of Davis’s assertion, “This is 100% inaccurate.”
Does not 100% inaccurate mean a lie? How else does one explain babies who survive abortions and are allowed to die because the ‘doctor’ who performed them didn’t finish the job before the baby breathing its first breath outside the womb?
In stating such a thing, Davis clearly sensed danger and pounced with a mendacious statement that clearly favored one side in the debate over the other, which destroys the mainstream media narrative that debate moderators are neutral; they are not.
Susan B. Anthony is demanding a correction from ABC. It is not known what ABC is expected to do in response, but one thing is clear. The lie was intentional, and it was strategic, weighing the ends justify the means vs. the path of least resistance. Susan B. Anthony went a bit further than an expectation that Davis and ABC correct the record. They are also calling on ABC to meet with abortion survivors.
