Despite Best Efforts, CCP Unable to Suppress Global Popularity of Cultural Dance of Shen Yun
The idea behind Shen Yun is to celebrate Chinese culture in a way that audiences from around the globe can truly find something to appreciate. And, even in the face of vitriol from the likes of the CCP, we’re seeing more and more of that.
Italy Represents
Case in point, NTD recently posted an article in which Parliament technician Fiadelfio Contino and his sister Marila recently attended a show in Italy – and came away absolutely mesmerized by it.
The article notes that they found the show to be a “resounding success,” and Mr. Contino personally loved “how well every performance aspect – such as the dancers, the orchestra and the 3D backdrop – was coordinated.”
Overall, he felt it was a “very good choice” in regards to bringing back the traditional culture of China. “When you get older, you appreciate [culture] more. Then it’s clear, it’s our responsibility to pass on the traditions, to pass on to future generations what we have learned and discovered as we got older. This is very good.”
For that matter, Marila also pointed out how she enjoyed “the kindness of the Chinese people and their long tradition.”
A spokesman for the long-running show joins us now to discuss its impact on other cultures, and how audiences as a whole can truly enjoy it.
