Press Release: The Danger Zone (Grant Berry)

Antisemitism Amongst Christians – the Church Must Break Free Now Antisemitism Amongst Christians – the Church Must Break Free Now

Since the war broke out on October 7th in Israel (2023), a huge surge of antisemitism has been unleashed upon the world, which is alarming, especially among younger generations. But is history repeating itself here with something cyclical and harder to discern relating to antisemitism that has traveled through the generations without really being detected? And are parts of the church still riddled by these influences, not even being aware of them, and needing to get free from them now?

Grant Berry, the founder of Reconnecting Ministries, author, and producer of The Romans 911 Project, thinks so and strongly believes this to be the case.

Recent alarming statistics from the Anti-Defamation League reveal a troubling tripling of antisemitic incidents in the U.S. over the past year. Particularly concerning is the finding that a significant number of Millennials and Gen Z harbor anti-Jewish sentiments. This antisemitism is not only shocking but highlights a broader ignorance of Israel’s historical and spiritual significance, especially in the Church.

He spoke about this at great length during a recent speech at the Pinecrest Reunion. In it, he makes note that the Church rejecting Israel based upon the rise of “horrific antisemitism” is leading to the potential “danger zone” for the part of the Church that will not stand with God’s covenants and promises to restore the people of Israel back to the family of God, as is written throughout the Bible in the end-days. For that matter, the “great deception being spewed out by the media” isn’t helping either.

But is there anything that can stop it? Or turn the tide back in favor of Israel, especially in the Church, which must now confront these negative influences and residual curses that have persisted for centuries? (See Genesis 12:3). Berry suggests a complete and informed repentance, but what does this look like?

Introducing The Romans 911 Project

Introducing The Romans 911 Project Study Guide and free video teaching series that has been produced for such a time as this. An Alpha-type teaching course that exposes the negative influences, giving opportunity for all of God’s children to get free from them and move towards rebuilding love and unity in God’s family according to Jesus’s prayer of John 17.

Grant Berry is passionate about the Father’s Heart for fostering love and unity between Christians and Messianic Jews (Jewish believers in Yeshua/Jesus), emphasizing the need for the church to confront its historical failures without condemnation to help break off these influences.

“We must take an honest look at the state of the church in all areas of division and separation,” echoing Nehemiah’s call to rebuild. Prayer and repentance are vital for restoring this love and unity, and it’s imperative that the church rid itself of harmful influences that perpetuate hatred and division, or indifference to the Jewish people that is still rampant in the Church.

Grant’s work not only addresses antisemitism but also the theological implications of replacement theology, also known as supersessionism and fulfillment theology. Replacement theology essentially teaches that the church has replaced Israel in God’s plan.

By engaging in The Romans 911 Project teaching course, moving into deeper places of prayer, participating in discussions about Israel and the Church, and embracing the end-time roles it unveils, the church can reclaim its voice and counter the negative narratives, causing God’s Kingdom to arise out of the ever-increasing darkness. The Romans 911 Project gives vision and sets a pathway for these reforms.

In interviews and speaking engagements, Grant eloquently conveys his vision for a church that embraces this most significant restorative piece in God’s family and recognizes Jesus/Yeshua as the Jewish Messiah. He is determined to see younger generations understand the importance of Israel in God’s plan and to combat the dangerous narratives that threaten to divide the Body of Messiah/Christ.

Attached, please find The Romans 911 Project E-Brochure promoting the free abbreviated teaching course. It clearly outlines the need for these teachings in the Church and beyond.
