President Joe Biden spoke at the Everytown for Gun Safety training conference—calling for additional restrictions on guns—just hours after his son Hunter Biden was convicted on three charges related to illegally purchasing a gun while addicted to drugs.
At the event, Biden bragged about getting more strict gun laws on the books. He told the crowd he is keeping guns “out of dangerous hands” and from those “who are a danger to themselves and others.” Odd words since we saw how his own Son was able to get around current gun laws. Biden also called for a ban on what he referred to as “assault weapons.”
Joining us now to discuss this further is Stephen Willeford, spokesman for Gun Owners of America. You may recall Willeford being the “hero with a gun” with the Sutherland Springs situation in 2017, about which he co-authored a book.
