Law enforcement veteran Michael Letts explains why Joe Biden needs to push for funding for more Border Patrol agents and police officers.
As if the United States wasn’t already in enough turmoil with increasing crime activity and inflation, FBI head Christopher Wray has warned that a “dangerous period” awaits from what’s happening between Israel and Hamas.
Wray believes that several terrorist groups could be planning to make a move in the country, in an effort to push their own causes. “The reality is that the terrorism threat has been elevated throughout 2023, but the ongoing war in the Middle East has raised the threat of an attack against Americans in the United States to a whole other level,” Wray noted while speaking with the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
Wray believes that the 1,400 or so people killed in Israel “will serve as an inspiration the likes of which we haven’t seen since ISIS launched its so-called caliphate years ago.”
With the threat of extreme propaganda in the air, then, it’s interesting that Wray hasn’t pushed for any additional funding when it comes to police officers and agents to keep things safe at the Southern Border – where violent types are likely to slip through.
