Intro: Internationally renowned religious television host Sid Roth has more than 2 million daily viewers and he has recently made the controversial declaration that God wants President Trump to win re-election in November—and Sid further says he has proof from the bible to back his claim.
As host of “It’s Supernatural,” Sid Roth’s bold iconoclastic statements are being received with more than mild discomfort by many secular and religious conservatives who are cowering for cover in the current ‘Cancel Culture’ era.
Joining us to clarify his controversial declaration is Sid Roth.
Q&A:
- You say God wants Trump to win reelection and you say you have proof. Exactly what is that proof?
Answer: In the bible God has shown clearly that he has 3 main areas that trigger judgment on a nation: 1. Child Sacrifice, 2. Destruction of the foundations of Marriage between a man and a woman, and 3. Opposing Israel or the Jews.
- How does Trump stand with these big 3 issues?
Answer: Thank God our President stands boldly for the biblical definition of marriage, against sacrificing babies in the womb and is the most PRO ISRAEL President in my lifetime.
The Republican platform is biblically correct on these 3 nation-destroying issues.
The Democratic Platform is against God on these issues.
Therefore, this proves God favors Trump over Biden and this is why I must vote Republican and encourage others to do the same.
- In Tel Aviv, Israel, the general population widely embraces Gay Pride parades and same sex marriage. How can God protect the modern state of Israel that is, in essence, a secular nation?
Answer: Israel has been backslidden many times over the millennia, but God has never backslidden. His promises are everlasting, the Jews are His chosen people, and Israel is their home.
- You have said you believe the ancient Babylon deity of Baal was been resurrected into a modern-day deity you call the god of pleasure. Tell us more about that.
Answer: In ancient days, people brough their children to sacrifice them on the altar of first to Baal. In modern times, people sacrifice their children on the altar of abortion, burning them with saline to the god of pleasure.
- Sid, you have stated publicly that we are to vote on positions, not personality, but isn’t there a point when a person’s personality is speaking so loudly that it drowns out the issues to which he stands?
Answer: Trump is a blunt instrument. He is not perfect, but he is God’s battering ram who stands up against injustice and against those in the national news media who blatantly oppose biblical morality.
- What about the particularly egregious behavior such as when Donald Trump was captured on tape during an Access Hollywood interview making a crude comment about women. That doesn’t exactly make him a poster boy for traditional marriage. How can God defend such womanizing?
Answer: Again, Trump is not perfect, but he is usable. Ancient King Cyrus of Persia did not worship the God of Israel, but God used him mightily to support the ancient Israelites. Many have compared Trump to Cyrus.
- Has anyone ever told you that there are laws against churches and other 501c3 groups taking public positions in politics? How is it that you are able to speak out so boldly for President Trump? Isn’t that violating the law?
Answer: The only way I have the right to express my biblical views is because President Trump said he would not enforce the JOHNSON AMENDMENT that forbid ministers to express their biblical morality and select candidates. The Republican platform is biblically correct on these nation-destroying issues. The Democratic Platform is against God on these three issues. This is why I do not hesitate to encourage people to vote Republican.
The reason God put President Trump in office was to expose the corruption in both parties. Even with his imperfections, Donald Trump is God’s battering ram to make America great so we can have the religious freedom and economic freedom to fulfill our God-given destiny: To spread the Gospel throughout the world.
Elective Government, or the vote, is about the ONLY area where Biblical Christians have any power left in a society that thwarts moral opinion at every turn.
- This interview would be remiss if we did not ask a question about COVID-19. What do you feel God’s involvement is, with regard to the current coronavirus pandemic?
Answer: Even an atheist would agree something supernatural is going on with the Coronavirus. The worldwide fear and panic is not warranted by the evidence at this point.
But at the rate things are going, the economy, life as we know it, travel and even food will shift for the worse and President Trump will lose the election and the United States will become a third-class nation.
That’s why we need a moral revival in the United States, and more than just a day of prayer. We need a collective day or repentance. That will catch God’s attention, and hopefully, He will bless us with another four years of President Trump.
