NEW BILL TO BAN ABORTIONS ONCE BABY IS OLD ENOUGH TO FEEL PAIN/ Guests in Eastern Time)

Image Throughout the decades that mark the political and legislative battle on the abortion-rights issue, the cornerstone of debate has always been whether or not life begins at conception or birth.

But this week, in the Nebraska state legislature, a new bill will be on the table that completely shifts that cornerstone away from an argument of personal opinion to one of scientific fact—that after 20 weeks in the womb, a fetus has developed all the nervous structures necessary to begin feeling pain.

Available for interviews to further explain this medical science and the potentially groundbreaking Nebraska Abortion Pain Prevention Act on which it is based are Mary Balch, Lori Kehoe and Dorothy Yeung of the National Right to Life’s State Legislation Department.

The bill, should it become law, would ban the killing of unborn babies capable of feeling pain, absent a significant risk to the mother. More specifically, it would prevent abortion after 20 weeks in the absence of such a significant risk to the mother.

As guests on your show, Balch, Kehoe and Yeung can explore the issues regarding how unborn children can experience pain, whether or not it is within the Constitution to prevent abortions on “pain-capable” children, and what kind of precedent Nebraska’s bill could set should it pass.

Don’t miss this opportunity to introduce a whole new, thought-provoking angle on one of the most deadlocked debates in U.S. political and cultural history. Call Special Guests today to arrange an interview with three incredibly astute experts.
