WHY IS AN ISLAMIC OFFICIAL AT FT. HOOD LECTURING DEPLOYING TROOPS?

WHY IS AN ISLAMIC OFFICIAL AT FT. HOOD LECTURING DEPLOYING TROOPS?

Image The U. S. Defense Department has brought in Louay Safi to the Fort Hood U. S. Army Base as an instructor, and he has been lecturing on Islam to our troops in Fort Hood who are preparing to deploy to Afghanistan. Why?

Conducting Talk Show interviews on this topic is Walid Shoebat, a former Muslim terrorist, who has converted and wrote the book, “Why We Want to Kill You.”

During your interview, Walid explains that Safi is a top official of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and served as research director at the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), a Saudi funded think-tank dedicated to “the Islamicization of knowledge" — which, Zeyno Baran (in Volume 6 of the Hudson Institute's excellent series, "Current Trends in Islamist Ideology") has aptly observed, "could be a euphemism for the rewriting of history to support Islamist narratives!"

Shoebat shares that it was none other than ISNA that was identified by the Justice Department at the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing conspiracy trial as an unindicted co-conspirator. The defendants at that trial were convicted of funding Hamas to the tune of millions of dollars!

ISNA is the Muslim Brotherhood's umbrella entity for Islamist organizations in the United States. It was established in 1981 to enable Muslims in North America "to adopt Islam as a complete way of life." So, why on earth are we training U. S. soldiers to become Muslims to fight Muslims, which runs contrary to the very teaching we give our soldiers?

Safi to an entity called the "Safa Group." The Safa Group has never been charged with a crime, but the affidavit alleges its involvement in moving large sums of money to terrorist fronts. Safi was also caught on an FBI wiretap of Sami al-Arian, a former leader in the murderous Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). The year was 1995, and the topic of the discussion between Safi and al-Arian was Safi's concern that President Clinton's executive order prohibiting financial transactions with terrorist organizations would negatively affect al-Arian. More recently, al-Arian has been convicted of conspiring to provide material support to terrorism.

At Human Events a couple of months back, Rowan Scarborough had a disturbing report about the FBI's "partnering" efforts with Islamist groups — including the very same ISNA that the Justice Department had cited as an unindicted co-conspirator in the terrorism financing conspiracy. A prominent figure in the report was Louay Jafi:

Safi is a Syrian-born author who advocates Muslim American rights through his directorship of ISNA's Leadership Development Center. He advocates direct talks between Washington and Iran's leaders. He has spoken out against various law enforcement raids on Islamic centers. So, why on earth has the Army hired this man?

In a 2003 publication, "Peace and the Limits of War," Safi wrote, "The war against the apostates [non-believers of Islam] is carried out not to force them to accept Islam, but to enforce the Islamic law and maintain order." Remind me again, why is the U. S. Army retaining this man to ‘train’ our troops?

He also wrote, "It is up to the Muslim leadership to assess the situation and weigh the circumstances as well as the capacity of the Muslim community before deciding the appropriate type of jihad. At one stage, Muslims may find that jihad, through persuasion or peaceful resistance, is the best and most effective method to achieve just peace."

[ACM: Implicitly, this concedes there is a time for violent jihad, too.]
At ISNA's annual convention in Washington in July, one speaker, Imam Warith Deen Umar, criticized Obama for having two Jewish people — Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod — in the White House.

"Why do this small number of people have control of the world?" he asked, according to a IPT transcript. He said the Holocaust was punishment for Jews "because they were serially disobedient to Allah." [Steven] Emerson's group [the Investigative Project on Terrorism] collected literature at the convention approved for distribution by ISNA. It said the pamphlets and books featured "numerous attempts to portray U.S. prosecution of terrorists and terror supporters as anti-Muslim bigotry; dramatic revisionist history that denied attacks by Arab nations and Palestinian terrorists against Israel; anti-Semitic tracts and hyperbolic rants about a genocide and holocaust of Palestinians."

So, why is it again that this man is allowed to step foot on to the Ft. Hood base, no less train indoctrinated our U. S. Army troops?

Asked if the FBI should sever ties with ISNA, Emerson said, "ISNA is an unindicted co-conspirator. It's a Muslim Brotherhood group. I think in terms of legitimacy there should be certain expectations of what the group says publicly. If it continues to espouse jihad and anti-Semitism, I think it nullifies it right to have the FBI recognize it."

I looked into Safi throughout the Arabic websites; he aspires for change in the Muslim societies. The crux of this change is to introduce modernization of thought by Muslims worldwide, not to adapt western style secularism but to use it in order to create an Islamic state. Translation from the Arabic of Luay Safi’s views proves that Safi supports the establishment of Sharia law and a single Islamic Nation (Umma) unit worldwide:

The application of Shariah need to build a public consensus and develop awareness and commitment to Islam before moving to the imposition of Sharia law. This vision is based - at the net - on two ideas: First: The relationship between persons is to gain of a goal, …. 2 - The political leadership representing the general purposes and common interests for the general public and is working to achieve them. …the emergence of the nation into existence, in the sense that the establishment of an Islamic state requires the emergence of a society committed to the principle and standard Islamists, as it requires the actual stability of the nation's founding of the state carrying the aspirations of the Muslim community. Accordingly, if the Islamic state conditional on the commitment of the nation and selected prior to the Islamic regime approach to life, talking about the conditionality of the application of Sharia law in this State the clause itself is useless and meaningless, but may suggest the support of the argument raised by some Muslim thinkers, namely, the gradual introduction of sharia in Muslim countries in modern times, compared to the Covenant Prophet. … Mr. Safi said that the invitation is to establish an Islamic state in this era should proceed from the nation's call to exercise their right to political management of their affairs and issues, which will be based upon later application of the provisions of legitimacy, as part of the belief of the nation, not by letting the nation's political choice.

Louay Safi’s definition of an Islamic state is the concept presented by Ibn Khaldun he calls “the right approach to the definition of an Islamic state.” It ended with the following definition: "the Islamic State - is - the nation's power structures that guide political action and defined in accordance with the principles of Islamic political system.” (Louay Safi, Religion and Politics pp.121)

It’s not about living under a secular government, but how to use them as a stepping stone in order to invoke Sharia enslavement of the world.

Find out from someone with a depth of experience that includes a former life as a Muslim extremist. And ask him why he things the U. S. is retaining Mr. Safi to ‘help’ our troops. Schedule an interview with Walid Shoebat by calling Special Guests today.

ABOUT WALID SHOEBAT…

Born in Bethlehem, Walid's grandfather was the Muslim Mukhtar (chieftain) of Beit Sahour-Bethlehem (The Shepherd's Fields) and a friend of Haj-Ameen Al-Husseni, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and notorious friend of Adolf Hitler.

As a young man, he became a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, and participated in acts of terror and violence against Israel, and was later imprisoned in the Russian Compound, Jerusalem's central prison for incitement and violence against Israel.

After his release, he continued his life of violence and rioting in Bethlehem and the Temple Mount. After entering the U.S, he worked as a counselor for the Arab Student Organization at Loop College in Chicago and continued his anti-Israel activities.

In 1993, Walid studied the Bible in a challenge to convert his wife to Islam. Six months later, after intense study, Walid realized that everything he had been taught about Jews was a lie. Convinced he was on the side of evil, he became an advocate for his former enemy.

Driven by a deep passion to heal his own soul, and to bring the truth about the Jews, Israel and the threat of fundamentalist Islam to the world, Walid shed his former life and his work as a software engineer and set out to tirelessly bring the cause against the evil of Islamic Fundamentalist to tens of millions of people throughout the world: churches, synagogues, civic groups, government leaders and media.

Walid is the author of several bestselling books including “Why I Left Jihad,” “Why We Want To Kill You” and “God’s War on Terror.”

Walid is an American citizen and lives in the USA with his wife and children, under this assumed name. He has also been featured on BBC radio 4, 5 and the largest radio audience on the BBC World Service reaching 180 million people.

Walid has the unique insight so as people can now fully understand the issue of terrorism from the perspective of someone who was once a terrorist.
