BIG BUCKS BEHIND THE GAY AGENDA Grading Our ‘Safe Schools’ Czar and the Corporations Backing Him (Candi Cushman is in Mountain Time)

BIG BUCKS BEHIND THE GAY AGENDA Grading Our ‘Safe Schools’ Czar and the Corporations Backing Him (Candi Cushman is in Mountain Time)

Image When President Obama placed Kevin Jennings in the role of the nation’s safe schools czar, it didn’t happen without controversy, as Jennings was called up from his post as the founder of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN, pronounced “glisten” when spoken).

Those who’ve supported Jennings—either verbally and/or through corporate GLSEN sponsorships from companies as far and wide as PepsiCo, IBM, Cisco and others—saw no one more qualified for the job, given his organization’s track record in advocating for anti-bullying policies in school districts across the country.

But, according to Candi Cushman, education analyst for the Public Policy and Government Division of Focus on the Family, a pro-family Christian organization, this track record is misleading at best.

In truth, argues Cushman’s organization, “Jennings uses the word ‘safety’ as a smokescreen to hide his true extremist agenda . . . ” one that, Cushman goes on to explain, works to “enact one-sided policies that threaten religious liberties, use students as lobbyists to promote an adult, pro-gay agenda, and uses bullying policies as leverage to mandate pro-gay curriculum that includes teaching children as young as five about homosexuality—while not giving parents the right to ‘opt out’ of such classes.”

As a guest on your show, Cushman can go on to site specific examples, and expand on why parents should pay very close attention to how government and school district policies in their own states might be impacting their children’s education . . . and actually creating a reverse discrimination environment.

“Under Jennings’ direction, GLSEN has used the ‘safe school’ mantra to push a one-sided agenda into schools that has no tolerance for socially conservative and Christian viewpoints—and that promotes gender confusion. GLSEN has promoted lesson plans and student activities that also reflect this bias, in addition to school-wide events like the pro-gay Day of Silence.”

For an alarming, letter-grade discussion about the upside-down nature of this movement in our nation’s schools, and an insight into how parents can be proactive in shaping bullying-prevention policies that are effective, without sexualizing or politicizing the problem, call Special Guests today to book an interview with Candi Cushman.
