THE CHURCH GOETH BEFORE A FALL

Image What’s wrong with this picture? Major Christian church denominations are performing same sex marriages, ordaining homosexual clergy, and sanctioning abortion.

And even in many conservative churches, many parishioners are simply going through the motions of tradition, without having true relationship with the One they claim to serve.

And if there are family problems, instead of going to prayer, a growing number of churches are using psychologists to ‘fix’ their church problems.

The “Church Goeth Before a Fall” by Tim Lemont, who is available to be your Talk Show guest to warn the Church of Christ about the folly of using modern psychology to fix what only God can fix.

Tim Lemont shares that psychology dates all the way back to the “Garden of Eden” but that The Lord is calling his bride to forsake psychology and self, to return to faith in God above trust in ourselves.

Take a journey back from when Tim was a student attending Tyndale University College & Seminary, studying for a BA in Psychology. One month from graduation, Tim asked the Lord, “How can I use what I’ve learned from psychology to truly heal and transform people, Lord?”

The Lord showed Tim that psychology is a clever deception created by Satan to delude us into thinking that we can improve ourselves. The Christian world has bought into this lie. As a result, we are spoiling the gospel of Christ and giving the world the impression that we can improve on the gospel.

Tim contends that we are more concerned with developing “World-class Universities” than on introducing others to the One and Only Healer…Jesus Himself.

In pursuit of our dreams, the Church of Christ has forsaken its first love. God is calling his Church back to faith in Christ alone, and in his word. He is the only one that can truly save, heal and deliver us.

About Tim LeMont…

Tim Lemont was about to graduate with a BA in Psychology while attending Tyndale University College & Seminary.

Tim’s dream was to work one on one with people as a chaplain. Nearing completion of the degree, he sought the Lord about how to implement what he had learned.

To his surprise, the Lord showed him that Psychology is at war with the Church, and an enemy of the gospel of Christ.

Tim has served in the Church with children’s ministries, has sung tenor in the choir, and participated in serving for 8 years as a cabin leader at a children’s summer camp in Haliburton, Ontario.

Tim enjoys preaching the Word, and belongs to a small men’s prayer fellowship that he currently attends, called “Iron Sharpens Iron.”

Currently, Tim is driving a forklift at a large appliance warehouse in order to help pay off debt from school and his automobile purchase. He plans on applying for a Master of Divinity program in Toronto, and then to work toward a chaplain ministry.

Tim lives in Brampton, Ontario with his mother Larysa, his identical twin brother Jim and his older brother George. While still single, he is thankful to still enjoy the fellowship of his family while trying to pay off his debts. Tim also has a desire to pursue further writing in the future, as the Lord leads. Tim loves to fish, golf, watch movies or the Toronto Maple Leafs with his twin brother that he loves.

Shortly after surrendering his life to Christ at the age of 25, Tim asked God to glorify himself in it as he pleased. To his surprise and delight, God is showing him dreams and visions in his heart that he could never have imagined. He gives all the glory to God. Tim is thankful to God for calling him to stand for the truth of the gospel at a time when the Church has fallen in love with the world…

Revelation 2:4 (King James Version):
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
