CALLING OUT ISLAM: Why Would a ‘Devout Muslim’ Throw His Baby Off a Bridge? (Guest is in Eastern Time)

Image When a 21-year-old New Jersey man named Shamsid-Din Abdur-Raheem (pictured) abducts his own three-month-old daughter from her maternal grandmother then, after being arrested, tells police that he threw his baby girl off of a bridge into the icy river below, most people would be shocked . . .

. . . unless you’re someone who has studied Islam for years, like Pastor Bill Keller, the world’s leading Internet evangelist and founder of LivePrayer.com, who wasn’t surprised at all to hear Abdur-Raheem’s father describe his boy as a “devout Muslim.”

Keller, in a broadcast response e-mail to his online church subscribers, wrote, “While Muslims like to claim they are a religion of love and peace, their teachings and actions over (these) 1,400 years continually prove they are about hatred and death.”

In this New Jersey tragedy’s back-story, the mother of the child had full custody after refusing to marry Abdur-Raheem and was literally inside a courthouse acquiring a restraining order against him at the time of the abduction.

So, what’s the connection to Islam? Keller and other experts say it’s about honor killing—the same kind that led a Muslim man in Buffalo to behead his wife last year, after she wanted a divorce. The same kind that inspired a Muslim man in Peoria, Arizona, last November to run over his daughter with his car because she was becoming “too Westernized.” The same kind that caused a 17-year-old girl to run away from home last July for fear of dying at the hands of her father after she converted to Christianity.

And the “shocking” news stories seem to go on. Meanwhile, Keller goes on too, arguing strongly that none of these are isolated incidents.

“Of course there will be Muslim apologists who say that these are only the extremists,” Keller writes, “just like they try to distance themselves from their brothers . . . who flew the planes into the World Trade Center . . . Do you remember a few years ago when there was a cartoon in a Dutch newspaper depicting Muhammed with a bomb in his headdress? There were riots and people were actually killed over a CARTOON! Remember a year or so ago when Pope Benedict simply shared the historical fact that Islam was spread by violence and death and the Catholic churches that were burned down and the nuns killed by Muslims protesting his statements?”

As a guest on your show, Keller can elaborate on his knowledge of Islam and his understanding of the motivations driving religious Muslims like of Abdur-Raheem.

Further, he’s prepared to go after those in society—and even his peers in the Christian community—who bow to political correctness, or worse, are forming alliances with questionable Islamic leaders inside America. Call Special Guests today.
