VIRGINIA MAKES OBAMACARE STATE-MENT Votes to Make Government-Mandated Health Insurance Illegal (James Lansberry is in CST)

Image In the current Obama administration’s diehard push for bigger and bigger government, no issue is shaping up to be more of an egregious example of force-feeding such policy than the issue of healthcare.

In the rising spirit of states’ rights pushing back, however, the Virginia legislature—controlled by a Democrat majority, interestingly enough—voted this week to make it illegal for the government to force individuals into buying health insurance.

Available for interviews on this subject is James Lansberry, vice president of Samaritan Ministries, who has been following the evolution of healthcare reform in the past year very closely.

While many legal scholars, including some Virginia state Senators who voted against the bill, believe such a state law would be toothless in any legal faceoff with a federal mandate, experts like Lansberry say it is the act of passing this legislation more than the outcome it would have at the federal level that bares regard.

According to Lansberry, being that this occurred so soon after the Scott Brown upset victory in the Massachusetts U.S. Senate race, it is obvious that the tea party movement is not done shaking Washington by the lapels.

By profession, Lansberry is a perpetual student of healthcare policy, and has had a vested interest in the progression of the reform process in Congress because of the impact it can potentially have on his Samaritan—an alternative, free-market healthcare coverage solution that currently serves nearly 14,000 member families around the world.

To hear more about Lansberry’s projection on the course of the healthcare debate going further into election year 2010, as well as the intriguing details about the innovative concept of healthcare sharing ministries, call Special Guests today to schedule an interview.
