CHRISTMAS DYING IN ITS HOMELAND Minority Christians Being Driven Out of Middle East (Jim Jacobson is in Eastern Time)

CHRISTMAS DYING IN ITS HOMELAND Minority Christians Being Driven Out of Middle East (Jim Jacobson is in Eastern Time)

Image It is the holiday time of year that marks the beginning of Christianity, in the very region where Jesus was born. And, yet, the celebrations are few, and the feelings of joy are largely suppressed.

Jim Jacobson is the president of Christian Freedom International (CFI) and a former Reagan White House policy analyst who travels far and wide to support and serve the growing number of persecuted Christians around the world.

One of the most troubling places he visits, if for no other reason than it being Christ’s homeland, is the Middle East—most notably, Iraq, where the war has brought the wrath of Muslim extremist groups.

Ten years ago, though still a minority, Christians numbered around one million in Iraq. Today, it is estimated at 400,000, as Iraqi Christians find themselves celebrating the holidays on the run. Some in Jordan. Some in Syria. Others killed or kidnapped, or their churches bombed and burned.

But the threat to Christianity in the Middle East is not isolated, and it is not short-term.

“Christmas is becoming a sad occasion,” says a Jordanian Christian priest, quoted in a major Middle Eastern newspaper (seek link below). “ . . . There is a deliberate campaign to drive Christians outside the country. There are satanic plans that are not only targeting Christians in Iraq, but Christians throughout the Middle East, starting with Palestine. This is scary.”

During your interview with Jim Jacobson, you’ll find out just how scary, as statistics show that all across the globe more Christians have been martyred in the past 100 years than in the previous 1,900 years combined. Plus, you’ll discover why you probably haven’t heard that figure before from the mainstream media. Call Special Guests today.
