STEM CELL RESEARCH TO GET TAXPAYER DOLLARS WITH STROKE OF PEN: In Economic ‘Crisis’ President Obama Signs Controversial And Costly Executive Order
After signing an Executive Order that will clear the way for Federal funds to be used in embryonic stem cell research, President Obama stated that strict guidelines on cloning would be enacted and enforced.
The problem with this according to James Lansberry, president of the Alliance of Health Care Sharing Ministries is the fact that so many of the taxpayers whose money will fund this research view it as immoral science.
“I find it strange,” says Lansberry, “that in this time when the economy has taken center stage and people are hurting financially, they’re being told that now their dollars are going to be used to fund an unproven science as well as one with which so many vehemently disagree based on moral grounds.”
