NBC: PROUD AS A PEACOCK; DUMB AS A DODO
NBC Television pulled the plug on The Book of Daniel” Friday night Prime Time TV due to a massive outcry from a Moral Middle America that apparently still exists.
Daniel going extinct after a mere three episodes may be categorized as the biggest “Dodo egg” NBC ever laid in the history of the network.
For those of you (most of us) who never watch the outrageously distasteful, if not outright blasphemous flop, it was about an Episcopal Priest with an alcoholic wife, a 23-year-old homosexual Republican son, a 16-year-old drug dealer daughter, who is having sex with her 16-year-old step brother. Daniel Webster's secretary is a lesbian, having sex with Daniel’s sister-in-law.
There many moral organizations that fought this program are too many to mention. But some of the earliest opponents of Daniel (not to be confused with the heroic Daniel of the bible who was an undefiled, devoted follower of God who chose to be thrown into the lion’s den rather than bow to King Nebuchadnezzar’s statue) include Bill Keller, a rising evangelist who whose membership to his daily eVotionals has just surpassed the two million, Rusty Weller who posted online petitions to get the show taken off the air, and Dr. Paul Cameron of Family Research Institute of Colorado Springs who has been conducting Talk Shows for nearly one month now, raising awareness of the show and recruiting activists to oppose the program.
Interview requests for this topic will be directed to one of these three gentlemen. Keller is doing Television interviews and Weller and Dr. Cameron are conducting the radio interviews.
Reverend Rusty Weller of ChristianPetitions.com has a petition that may be viewed online at:

Dr. Cameron summarized the message of the Daniel show as: Christians are bad and homosexuals are good. Sub-theme: Christians are hypocrites whose preaching does not translate into their daily lives. In contrast, the new “super gender”, the homosexuals, are persecuted simply for being true to who they are.
Dr. Cameron rhetorically asked, “Given the theme of this show, is it any surprise that it was written by a homosexual?”
Bill Keller didn’t mince words in his early writings against this program. In his emailings that went to millions of subscribers, he snapped, “NBC wouldn’t dare mock Islam the way they flagrantly mock Christianity. “These people who created this garbage need to be exposed for their anti-God, anti-Bible, anti-Christ blasphemous mockery. Christians need to stand toe to toe with NBC in the marketplace and compete with them for the souls of men.”
