UNBRIDLED WINS EQUUS FILM FESTIVAL IN NEW YORK

The movie UNBRIDLED won the Equine Film Festival in New York City conducted Nov. 18-20, 2016. Fans loved Dreamer the starring horse, and they also enjoyed the acting of Eric Roberts, TC Stallings Tea McKay and the directing of John Ware.

Dreamer, a talented palomino pony, was paraded around New York city unbridled with his owner Lindsey Partridge, a North American champion equestrian from Canada.

UNBRIDLED was based on the true to life stories of a natural horsemanship ranch, Corral, in Cary, North Carolina, a haven for challenged teen girls, using rescued horses for therapy, with a message of unconditional love. It’s set for a release in Spring 2017.

Another popular horse at the festival featuring over 100 films, was Apple, a 26-inch-tall chestnut and white miniature horse in the movie Apple of My Eye with Burt Reynolds, Amy Smart, Liam Mcintyre and AJ Michalka in a heartwarming movie about a young girl’s struggle after a traumatic horse riding accident causes her to lose her eyesight and a miniature horse is trained to be her companion and surrogate eyes.
